    Job Description

    A reputable law firm is seeking a qualified and experienced Advocate to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing clients in various legal proceedings, drafting essential legal documents, and providing strategic legal advice. This role requires a professional with strong legal acumen, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to active legal practice.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Represent clients in court and other legal proceedings
    2. Draft legal documents including pleadings, contracts, and opinions
    3. Provide legal advice and strategies to clients
    4. Conduct legal research, train and prepare case files
    5. Liaise with clients, courts, government bodies, and other stakeholders

    Required Qualifications

    1. An LLB degree from a recognized university
    2. Admission to the Roll of Advocates of the High Court of Kenya
    3. A valid practicing certificate
    4. Minimum 3 years post-admission experience in active legal practice
    5. Strong written and verbal communication skills
    6. Excellent organizational and time management skills
    7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
