The Regional Technical, Evidence and Learning Director (TEQ) is a key leadership role within the Africa Regional Program Team, responsible for strengthening technical excellence, evidence use, learning, innovation and program quality across Mercy Corps' portfolio in Africa. The Technical Director works closely with country teams, regional leadership, technical advisors and global programs and support teams to ensure country programs have access to the expertise, resources and systems needed to design, implement and adapt high-quality programs that achieve meaningful and sustainable impact.

A Community Accountability Reporting Mechanism (CARM) is a central expression of this commitment and provides individuals, organisations, and community groups with a safe, confidential, and accessible means of raising concerns or sharing feedback with Mercy Corps, independently of programme operations. Reporting to the programme's Monitoring, Reporting, Evaluation, Learning and Adaptation (MRELA) Manager, the CARM and MRELA Officer is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and continuously strengthening the programme's community accountability system. The post-holder manages day-to-day feedback mechanisms including the intake, processing, and follow-up of beneficiary feedback and complaints, and builds a structured feedback loop into adaptive programme management.

The GESI, Protection & Safeguarding Advisor is a vital role within the BSP and is responsible for developing and overseeing an overall vision for how protection and safeguarding can be maintained across programme interventions and partners, ensuring differentiated approaches across a range of vulnerable groups. This includes remaining abreast of contextual understanding from assessments, ensuring the programme gathers and understands the required information and develops tailored plans and indicators to guide its approaches. The role will work closely with consortium partners to collaborate, support, ensure integrated approaches and quality assure. The advisor will also work closely with the Security Manager to lead on protection and safeguarding risk management.

The Graduate Intern – MEL is a position within the Country MEL team. Under supervision, the Intern will support the management, quality assurance, analysis and use of programme data across the Mercy Corps Kenya portfolio. The Graduate Intern will receive exposure to the MEL cycle, including results measurement, digital data collection, data cleaning and validation, dashboard development, basic statistical analysis, documentation, research support, learning and adaptive management. In this role, the Graduate Intern will gain practical exposure to analyzing market systems, understanding the behavior of market actors, assessing the sustainability of programme results, and evaluating how development initiatives contribute to long-term, inclusive change.

The Graduate Intern - Enterprise Development will support the County Coordinator in identifying, engaging, and coordinating private sector partners and entrepreneurs to advance the RANGE Program's Market Systems Development (MSD) objectives. The intern will contribute to business and partnership analysis, monitor partnership implementation and performance, strengthen collaboration among market actors and county stakeholders, and support documentation, learning, and knowledge management. This role provides practical experience in private sector engagement, partnership management, strengthening market systems, and data-driven decision-making while contributing to sustainable livelihood and resilience outcomes in the target counties.

Working within the Finance Department and reporting to the Senior Finance Officer, Nairobi, the Finance Graduate Intern will support the timely and accurate processing and recording of financial transactions. The role will also assist in maintaining proper filing, documentation, and archiving financial records. Throughout the internship, the successful candidate will gain practical exposure and hands-on exposure to key finance functions in the international humanitarian and development organization.

The People and Culture (P&C) department is responsible for providing effective HR policies, procedures, and people-friendly guidelines and support within Mercy Corps Kenya, regional and global teams based in Kenya. This includes leading support on talent acquisition & development, employee engagement coordination, country-wide training & learning management, compensation & benefits administration, performance management oversight, disciplinary & grievance handling, staff data management, staff disengagement management, and third-party service provision management. The People & Culture Graduate Intern will support the team in delivering high-quality HR services across the employee lifecycle, gaining practical experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, staff engagement, HR analytics, and compliance while contributing to Mercy Corps Kenya's mission and organizational culture.
