FSD Africa is seeking a Manager for Enterprise Development to contribute to the development of its ESF strategy and venture building portfolio, focusing on venture development, agri-tech innovation, and climate-resilient enterprise models. The role involves supporting the design and refinement of venture building approaches, with a primary focus on the Agri-Tech Venture Launcher under AFIYA, and building synergies with other enterprise development efforts. The manager will translate strategic objectives into multi-country workplans, budgets, and implementation frameworks, and monitor ecosystem trends to inform programme design. This position requires close collaboration with the Development Impact team and effective management of resources and budgets for venture building projects.

Reporting to the Specialist, Strategic Risk, the Manager, ESG provides strategic and technical leadership for the continuous development, implementation and quality assurance of FSD Africa's Environmental and Social Performance Management (ESPM) System across investment activities. The role is accountable for shaping FSDAi's approach to ESG risk management and impact, ensuring ESG considerations strengthen investment decision-making, portfolio performance and long-term development outcomes, while remaining aligned with evolving market practice, investor expectations and organisational priorities.
