Show You Can Handle the Pre-Litigation Grind

This role lives in the trenches of personal injury cases—insurance calls, medical records, and client updates. Hiring managers want proof you can juggle those moving parts without dropping a ball.

    1. Quantify your case load: On your CV, list how many cases you've managed at once and your average response time to client queries. Numbers like 'handled 30+ active PI files' beat vague claims.

    2. Master the insurance jargon: Before applying, brush up on terms like subrogation, demand packages, and medical liens. Expect to be asked how you'd open a claim or chase a police report.

    3. Show your scheduling muscle: Talk about coordinating medical appointments and transport for clients. Mention any tools you used to track appointments and follow-ups.

    4. Prove your typing speed: The posting asks for 40+ WPM. If you can, take a quick typing test and note your score on your CV—it's a concrete filter.

    5. Highlight your software edge: If you've used Litify, Salesforce, or similar, put it in a skills section. If not, say you're a fast learner and give an example of picking up new systems quickly.

    6. Prepare for a client-care scenario: You'll likely be asked how you'd update a stressed client. Have a story ready that shows empathy plus professionalism—e.g., explaining a delay without panic.

    7. Know the PI lifecycle: Walk through the stages from claim opening to demand submission. Being able to explain where you fit in shows you understand the big picture.

    8. Polish your English, add Spanish: Advanced English is non-negotiable. If you speak Spanish, highlight it—it's a strong plus and could set you apart.
