    Job Description

    Pianist (Part-time) at Nairobi Waldorf School — Nairobi, Kenya.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Playing a wide musical range - folk melodies, classical pieces, and simple accompaniments suited to different ages
    • Improvise and accompany eurythmy movement sensitively and responsively
    • Work closely with eurythmy teachers and be part of a child's daily rhythm
    • Learning eurythmy's musical requirements if not already familiar
    • Punctuality and a warm rapport with children

    Required Qualifications

    • A pianist with strong improvisational skill and the ability to follow and support movement in real time
    • Ideally, some familiarity with Waldorf education or eurythmy (training can be provided)
    • A varied musical vocabulary suited to different ages and moods
    • Reliability, warmth, and enjoyment working with children
