    Job Description

    We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at Team Plus Limited.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Prepare and process payroll accurately and on time
    2. Ensure compliance with KRA requirements (PAYE, NSSF, NHIF, etc.)
    3. Maintain accurate financial records and reports
    4. Review and reconcile accounts
    5. Monitor expenses and ensure cost control
    6. Support in preparation of financial statements
    7. Handle final dues calculations and employee payments
    8. Work closely with HR on attendance, leave, and payroll matters

    Required Qualifications

    1. Proven experience as an Accountant (preferably in payroll-heavy environments)
    2. Strong knowledge of Kenyan tax laws and statutory deductions
    3. High attention to detail and accuracy
    4. Good knowledge of Excel and accounting systems
    5. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    7. Proactive, organized, and able to identify and correct errors, not just perform data entry tasks.
