Show How You've Architected Education Tech at Scale

This role sits at the intersection of education, cloud, and AI. Hiring managers will be looking for proof you can translate academic needs into technical solutions that hold up in real institutions.

    1. Lead with your architecture wins: On your CV, highlight specific projects where you designed or deployed technology for schools or universities. Mention the scale (number of users, institutions) and the outcomes—like improved adoption or reduced IT overhead.

    2. Speak the language of both educators and engineers: Prepare to explain technical concepts (like SSO, cloud infrastructure) in terms that resonate with academic stakeholders. Practice bridging the gap between pedagogical goals and technical constraints.

    3. Show your AI/ML fluency: Since Gemini is central, be ready to discuss how AI can enhance learning experiences. Give examples of AI applications you've seen or implemented in education, even if small-scale.

    4. Prove your change-management chops: Technology adoption is a key part of the role. Share stories where you guided institutions through transitions—what you did to get buy-in, train staff, and ensure smooth rollouts.

    5. Prepare a demo that tells a story: If asked to present, don't just show features. Craft a narrative that starts with a real academic problem and demonstrates how Gemini solves it, using data or scenarios from your experience.

    6. Know the Google for Education ecosystem inside out: Be ready to discuss the full suite—Classroom, Workspace, Chromebooks—and how they integrate. Mention any certifications or hands-on projects you've done with these tools.

    7. Anticipate technical deep-dives: Expect questions on identity management (SSO), cloud architecture, and web technologies. Brush up on best practices and be ready to whiteboard solutions on the spot.

    8. Show you can influence roadmaps: The role involves feeding customer feedback to product teams. Give examples of times you've provided input that shaped a product or service, and how you prioritized that feedback.
