Show Your AI Application Evidence Clearly

This scholarship is for an MSc in ICT with a specific focus on Artificial Intelligence. The selection committee will be looking for concrete proof that you have already applied AI in some capacity, so your application must make that evidence impossible to miss.

    1. Lead with your AI project: In your CV and application letter, put your most relevant AI project or experience at the top. Describe the problem, your approach, the tools you used, and the outcome. If you have a portfolio or GitHub, include links.

    2. Tailor your CV to the scholarship: Highlight any coursework, research, or work experience related to AI, machine learning, data science, or ICT. Use keywords from the job description, such as 'Artificial Intelligence', 'machine learning', 'data analysis', and 'ICT'.

    3. Prepare a strong academic statement: Explain why you want to pursue this MSc and how it fits into your career goals. Mention your interest in AI and how you plan to apply it in your future research or work.

    4. Get strong recommendation letters: Ask professors or employers who can speak to your technical skills and potential for research. Provide them with your CV and a summary of your AI experience so they can write specific, detailed letters.

    5. Practice for the interview: If you are shortlisted, you will likely have an interview. Be ready to discuss your AI projects in depth, explain your technical choices, and show your passion for the field.

    6. Understand the Graduate Assistant role: As a Graduate Assistant, you will support teaching and research. Be prepared to talk about how you can contribute to tutorials, labs, and mentorship, and how your AI skills can enhance these activities.

    7. Plan for the PhD transition: The scholarship expects you to transition to a PhD after your MSc. Think about your long-term research interests and how you can frame your MSc as a stepping stone to a PhD in AI or a related field.

    8. Double-check your application package: Ensure you have all the required documents, including certified copies of your degree certificate and transcripts, and that your application is complete before the deadline. Submit both online and hard copy as instructed.
