How to Apply: Send your resume and portfolio with the subject 'graphic design & motion graphics intern' to recruiting@interintel.co.ke.

Show Motion Graphics That Move the Story

This internship is about turning product features into visual stories that click. Your portfolio is the first screen, so make it show both your design eye and your motion skills.

    1. Curate a portfolio that leads with motion: Put your best motion graphics and UI animation pieces at the top. Hiring managers for this role want to see you can bring interfaces to life, not just static posters.

    2. Match your work to the company's vibe: InterIntel is in ICT, so show tech-focused projects—app walkthroughs, software explainers, or even a simple dashboard animation. It signals you understand their world.

    3. Break down your process: For one or two pieces, include a short note on how you went from brief to final—tools used, iterations, and what you learned. It shows you think like a designer, not just a tool user.

    4. Brush up on the tools they listed: Be ready to talk about your workflow in After Effects, Figma, and Illustrator. Even if you're stronger in one, show you can adapt to their stack.

    5. Prepare a mini case study: Pick one project and explain the goal, your creative choices, and the result. For an intern role, they're checking your thinking, not just your output.

    6. Show you can work to deadlines: In your CV or interview, mention a time you delivered under pressure—school project, freelance gig, or club work. It proves you can handle campaign timelines.

    7. Ask smart questions about their brand: When you get the chance, ask about their visual identity and the kind of content they need most. It shows you're already thinking about their needs.

    8. Follow up with a thank-you note: After applying or interviewing, send a short, polite email. It's a small move that leaves a lasting impression in a competitive intern pool.
