Show Your TSC Registration and CBE Readiness

For teaching roles in Kenya, your TSC registration is non-negotiable, and your ability to adapt to the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBE) is a major plus. Make sure your application clearly highlights both.

1. Lead with your TSC number: Put your TSC registration number prominently in your CV and cover letter. Hiring managers for teaching posts check this first, so don't bury it.

2. Showcase your CBE experience: If you've taught under the CBE system, give specific examples of how you've implemented learner-centered approaches. Mention any training or workshops you've attended.

3. Highlight your ICT skills: Since the job requires basic ICT skills, list the specific tools you're comfortable with, like Google Classroom, Zoom, or educational apps. Show how you've used them to enhance learning.

4. Tailor your cover letter: Address the school by name and mention why you're interested in teaching History and/or Kiswahili at MM Shah and MV Shah Academy. Show that you've done your research.

5. Prepare a demo lesson: Be ready to teach a short sample lesson during the interview. Practice integrating digital tools and interactive methods to demonstrate your CBE alignment.
