    Job Description

    Makini High School is seeking an experienced ICT Teacher to deliver Cambridge Assessment International Education. The role involves teaching ICT to a diverse student body, demonstrating strong leadership and interpersonal skills, and contributing to a positive school environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Teach ICT to students in a recognized International School setting.
    • Deliver Cambridge Assessment International Education curriculum.
    • Inspire, challenge, motivate, and empower students.
    • Demonstrate knowledge of current educational issues in ICT.
    • Work collaboratively with staff and embrace team spirit.

    Required Qualifications

    • At least five years demonstrable teaching experience in a recognized International School preferably one delivering Cambridge Assessment International Education.
    • Bachelor of Education degree with specialization in the relevant area i.e Art & Design/Music/ICT from a recognized institution.
    • Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission.
    • Demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of current educational issues relating to the specialist subject areas.
    • Strong leadership skills.
    • Interpersonal skills.
    • Embrace team spirit.
    • Ability to work with a diverse student body.
    • Self-driven.
    • Be willing to inspire, challenge, motivate and empower students.
    • Deep understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
