    Job Description

    Kabarak University is seeking a Lecturer in Education Curriculum to teach and conduct research in Curriculum Studies and related areas. The role involves teaching four courses per semester, supervising undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, and developing curriculum materials. The successful candidate will also set and mark assignments, tests, and examinations, and perform other duties as assigned by the University Management.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Teaching and research in Education Curriculum, Curriculum Studies and related areas four courses per semester
    • Providing results of assignments, tests and examinations for recording
    • Supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research projects in Curriculum Studies and related areas
    • Setting and marking assignments, tests and examinations
    • Developing and reviewing curriculum materials, course outlines and teaching resources
    • Performing any other duties that may be assigned by the University Management

    Required Qualifications

    • An earned PhD or equivalent degree qualification in Education, Curriculum Studies or a relevant field from an accredited and recognized University
    • Ability to use modern teaching methods and E-Learning tools
    • At least three 3 years teaching experience at University level or experience in research or industry
    • Registered with the relevant professional body, where applicable
    • A minimum of twenty-four 24 publication points, of which at least sixteen 16 should be from refereed journal papers
    • Excellent presentation, teaching and learning support skills
