Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching & Instruction
* Prepare and deliver lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in Nutrition and Health.
* Develop lesson plans, course outlines, and teaching materials.
* Guide students in understanding theoretical and practical aspects of nutrition science.
* Use appropriate teaching methods and technology to enhance learning.
2. Assessment & Evaluation
* Design, administer, and mark exams, quizzes, assignments, and practical assessments.
* Provide timely, constructive feedback to students.
* Ensure assessments align with learning outcomes and university standards.
3. Research & Scholarship
* Conduct research in areas related to nutrition, dietetics, public health, or related disciplines.
* Publish in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at conferences where applicable.
* Engage students in academic research and supervise research projects (if required).
4. Academic Advising & Student Support
* Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.
* Hold consultation hours to support students’ academic success.
5. Curriculum & Program Development
* Participate in reviewing and updating course content and teaching materials.
* Contribute to the development of new courses or program improvements within the department.
6. Professional & Institutional Engagement
* Attend departmental meetings, training sessions, or faculty development activities.
* Contribute to university committees and academic initiatives when required.
7. Compliance & Quality Assurance
* Ensure alignment with the Commission for University Education (CUE) guidelines.
* Maintain academic integrity and adhere to university teaching policies.
