Show You Can Run Health Programmes Across Borders

This role is about delivering health programmes that span countries and teams. Hiring managers will be looking for proof you can manage budgets, coordinate in-country partners, and keep quality high under deadline pressure.

    1. Lead with programme results: On your CV, highlight specific programmes you've delivered, including scale, countries, and outcomes. Use numbers: budgets managed, teams led, milestones hit.

    2. Prove your budget fluency: Expect to be probed on how you link programme milestones to invoicing and donor reporting. Prepare a concrete example of how you tracked spend and reported to a funder.

    3. Show your cross-country coordination: Talk about how you've worked with in-country teams or partners. Emphasize communication and alignment across time zones and cultures.

    4. Demonstrate quality assurance: Be ready to describe how you've ensured documentation and deliverables met high standards. Mention any QA frameworks you've used.

    5. Prepare for technical conversations: You'll need to engage credibly with clinicians. Brush up on health terminology and be ready to discuss how you've handled technical content.

    6. Highlight writing skills: Bring samples of workplans, reports, or proposals you've written. Show you can produce clear, high-quality documents under pressure.

    7. Address the degree requirement: Make sure your health or life sciences degree is prominent. If you have a clinical degree, note why your experience still fits.

    8. Mention added advantages: If you have pharma, tech, or French experience, highlight it. These are not required but can set you apart.
