1. Highlight your registration status: Make sure your CV clearly states your Pharmacy and Poisons Board registration number and the validity of your annual practicing license. This is a non-negotiable requirement, and showing it upfront saves the recruiter time.

2. Quantify your dispensing experience: Instead of just listing duties, include numbers. For example, mention the average number of prescriptions you processed daily or the size of the inventory you managed. This gives a concrete sense of your capacity.

3. Show inventory management wins: Describe a time you reduced stockouts or minimized wastage. Mention any systems you used (e.g., pharmacy management software) and the impact on costs or patient care.

4. Prepare for clinical counselling scenarios: Be ready to explain how you would counsel a patient on a new medication, including side effects and interactions. Practice explaining complex information in simple terms.

5. Emphasize your business acumen: Pharmacists in medical centres often contribute to profitability. Talk about how you've managed budgets, negotiated with suppliers, or improved turnover of fast-moving items.

6. Demonstrate leadership potential: Since the role involves policy and team leadership, give an example of when you led a team or influenced policy. Even if it was a small initiative, it shows you're ready for more responsibility.

7. Tailor your CV to the job description: Use keywords from the posting like 'dispensing', 'clinical care', 'inventory management', and 'patient counselling' in your CV and cover letter. This helps you pass through any automated screening.
