    Show Your IT Support Chops

This role is all about keeping systems running and users happy. Hiring managers will look for hands-on troubleshooting skills and a customer-service mindset.

    1. Highlight your troubleshooting wins: On your CV, give specific examples of hardware, software, or network issues you resolved. Mention the tools and steps you used, and the outcome.

    2. Prove your customer-service edge: IT support is about people. Share a time you turned an angry user into a satisfied one, or how you explain technical things to non-techies.

    3. Show you know AV setups: Many IT coordinators handle projectors and video conferencing. If you've set up or troubleshot such gear, put it on your CV.

    4. Get familiar with inventory and procurement: This role tracks hardware and software licenses. Mention any experience with asset management or purchasing.

    5. Prepare for scenario questions: Expect questions like 'A user's laptop won't connect to Wi-Fi, what do you do?' Walk through your logical steps.

    6. Emphasize your follow-up skills: You'll juggle multiple requests. Give an example of how you prioritize and keep stakeholders updated.

    7. Know the basics of security: Brush up on password policies, phishing, and safe software use. They'll probe your awareness.

    8. Research the company: Q-Sourcing Servtec is a recruitment firm. Understand their business and how IT supports their operations.
