    Job Description

    Zetech University is seeking a Tutorial Fellow in Film and Animation to teach courses allocated by the Head of Department, design and deliver programmes, and engage in research and consultancy. The role involves collaborating with academic colleagues, reviewing course content, and providing mentorship to students and staff.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Teach in areas allocated by the Head of Department.
    • Design, develop, plan and deliver a range of programmes of study, sometimes for entirely new courses at various levels.
    • Deliver high-quality lectures and practicals.
    • Review course content and materials on a regular basis, updating when required.
    • Collaborate with academic colleagues on course development, curriculum changes and the development of research activities.
    • Carry out research and write research grant proposals.
    • Seek and participate in consultancies.
    • Present research papers at national or international conferences and other similar events.
    • Disseminate research outputs.
    • Provide mentorship and career guidance to students and staff.
    • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisors or as captured in the detailed job description.

    Required Qualifications

    • Registered or be registerable for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or equivalent Doctoral degree qualification in Film and Animation.
    • A Masters & Bachelor's qualification in Film and Animation from an accredited University.
    • At least three (3) years of post-qualification work experience.
    • Demonstrated university-level teaching and research experience.
    • Be registered or registrable with the relevant professional body where applicable.
