    Job Description

    Leads User Acceptance Testing execution across business users from partner organisations, under Project Simba Independent QA Team leadership.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinate UAT scheduling across two external partner organisations.
    • Issue and walk business reviewers through the UAT test pack as the execution script.
    • Track go/no-go input per application module from named business reviewers.
    • Drive formal UAT sign-off ahead of the go-live readiness review.

    Required Qualifications

    • Cross-organisational coordination experience, ideally UAT-specific.
    • Comfortable facilitating for non-technical business stakeholders across multiple organisations.
    • UAT facilitation, stakeholder management, scheduling and coordination across external organisations.
    • UAT completes on schedule with every module reviewed and signed off by a named business reviewer, and no last-minute scramble to find available participants.

    Own the UAT Calendar Like a Project Lead

    This role lives and dies by your ability to keep two external organisations moving on the same test schedule. Hiring managers will look for proof you can turn chaos into a clear, signed-off plan.

    1. Show your scheduling toolkit: On your CV, name the tools you use to track UAT timelines, participants, and sign-offs. If you have used Jira, Azure DevOps, or even a well-structured spreadsheet, say so. Give one example of a complex schedule you managed across multiple teams.

    2. Prove you can talk to non-technical reviewers: UAT reviewers are often business users, not testers. Prepare a short story about explaining a test scenario to someone with zero technical background. Mention how you kept them engaged and got their sign-off.

    3. Bring a sample test pack walkthrough: If you have a sample UAT test pack or script, bring it to the interview. Walk the panel through how you would issue it and guide a reviewer through it. This shows you understand the execution script part of the role.

    4. Talk about go/no-go decisions: Be ready to explain how you track go/no-go input per module. Give an example of a time you flagged a risk and helped the team decide whether to proceed or delay. This shows you understand the stakes.

    5. Show you can drive sign-off: Sign-off is the final deliverable. Describe how you get reluctant stakeholders to commit. Maybe you set deadlines, send reminders, or escalate early. Share a real example of a sign-off you secured.

    6. Prepare for stakeholder management questions: Expect questions like 'How do you handle a reviewer who keeps postponing?' Have a concrete answer ready. Talk about setting expectations, offering alternatives, and escalating when needed.

    7. Know the project context: The role is under 'Project Simba' and involves partner organisations. Research the company and the project if you can. Show you understand the importance of UAT in a go-live readiness review.

    8. Ask smart questions: At the end, ask about the current UAT process, the tools they use, and how success is measured. This shows you are already thinking about how to deliver.
