Reporting to the Board of Directors, the job holder will be responsible for providing strategic and visionary leadership and full operational responsibility in the development, implementation and evaluation of strategic business plans approved by the Board in order to achieve the Company's mandate.

The General Manager, Geothermal Development, reporting to the Managing Director & CEO, is responsible for furthering KenGen's green energy footprint by maximizing Geothermal resource potential in the country and providing Geothermal Energy Leadership in Africa.

To provide leadership in the development, implementation and oversight of the Company's Monitoring and Evaluation framework to ensure effective tracking of performance, impact, and outcomes of strategic initiatives, programs and projects. The role ensures delivery of projects within scope, cost, quality and timelines through robust performance monitoring, evaluation and reporting mechanisms.

The Manager, Financial Accounting is responsible for leading and overseeing financial accounting and reporting functions by ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial information; delivering timely consolidated and external reports; providing strategic financial insights for decision-making; and strengthening internal controls, reporting processes and governance standards.
