Show Your Roots in the Ward and Your Coffee Agronomy Know-How

This extension role is about trust and practical field impact. Hiring managers will look for proof you live in the ward, understand coffee systems, and can bring digital tools to farmer groups. Your application must make those three things obvious from the first page.

1. Prove residency early: Attach a clear copy of your National ID and any document that shows your ward (e.g., utility bill, chief's letter). Mention the ward name in your cover letter's first sentence so the screener doesn't hunt for it.

2. Lead with coffee-specific experience: If you have worked on coffee farms, with cooperatives, or in extension, put that in your CV summary and cover letter. Use numbers: number of farmers trained, hectares covered, or yield improvements you supported.

3. Show digital data collection comfort: Name the tools you have used (ODK, KoboToolbox, CommCare, or even simple Excel). If you have collected field data before, describe a short example of how you ensured accuracy.
