    Job Description

    The Director, Corporate Services is responsible to the Chief Executive Officer for the management and coordination of activities in the Directorate. The role entails overseeing policy development and implementation across finance, human resource, administration, corporate communication, and ICT functions, ensuring financial prudence, staff welfare, and a conducive work environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Overseeing the development, implementation and review of policies on finance, human resource, administration, corporate communication, Information and Communication Technology functions in the Board.
    • Ensuring financial prudence and discipline for financial accounting, planning, treasury management, budgeting and budgetary controls in compliance with the set legal guidelines.
    • Overseeing staff development welfare and employee relations in the Board.
    • Facilitating the provision of a conducive work environment in the Board.
    • Overseeing fleet and asset management in the Board.
    • Overseeing development of ICT programmes and system.
    • Promoting corporate social brand and image of the Board.
    • Spearheading corporate social responsibility programmes.
    • Coordinating the Board's Management Information Systems and security.
    • Coordinating the adoption of technology infrastructure in line with the Board's goals and changing technologies.
    • Initiate development and implementation of communications strategy.
    • Coordinating Corporate social programmes.
    • Development and dissemination of corporate communications materials.
    • Enhance the image of the Board.

    Required Qualifications

    • Fifteen (15) years' cumulative experience, five (5) of which should have been in at least the grade of Assistant Director and above in Human Resource, Finance, Accounts, Administration, Corporate Communication, or in a comparable position.
    • Bachelor's degree in human resource management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Commerce or equivalent from a recognized institution.
    • Master's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Commerce or equivalent from a recognized institution.
    • Membership to a relevant professional body and in good standing.
    • Leadership Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution.
    • A valid practicing license/certificate.
    • Proficiency in computer applications.
    • Demonstrated professional competence and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
