    Additional Information

How to Apply: Send your CV and Application Letter to jobs@aakenya.co.ke by 25th August 2026. Use the email subject format: Position - Preferred Branch (e.g., Driving School Instructor-Sarit branch).

Show Your NTSA Credentials and Training Style

Driving instructor roles hinge on your certification and your ability to teach, not just drive. Hiring managers at AA Kenya will look for proof you can handle learners patiently and enforce safety standards.

    1. Lead with your licenses: Put your NTSA Instructor Certificate and valid driving license at the top of your CV. They are non-negotiable, so make them impossible to miss.

    2. Highlight your teaching experience: Detail any prior roles in technical training or driver instruction. Mention how many students you've trained and your pass rates if possible.

    3. Show your communication skills: Instructors must explain maneuvers clearly. Give an example of how you simplified a complex driving concept for a nervous learner.

    4. Emphasize customer service: Driving schools depend on repeat business and referrals. Describe how you've handled difficult customers or turned a negative experience around.

    5. Prepare for a practical demo: You may be asked to demonstrate your driving and teaching skills. Practice your instructions and be ready to critique a mock learner's performance.

    6. Know the local roads: Familiarize yourself with Bondo's traffic patterns, common test routes, and accident-prone areas. Mention this awareness in your interview.

    7. Show you can work independently: The posting stresses minimum supervision. Give examples of times you managed your own schedule or solved problems without a supervisor.

    8. Polish your application format: Follow the subject line instruction exactly. A small detail like this shows you can follow procedures, a key trait for an instructor.

CareerSasa Safety Alert: Never pay employers or agencies for interviews, training, or job placement. Does a job request payment? Report it immediately using the "Flag" button. While CareerSasa vets job postings thoroughly, always verify opportunities independently.
