Show Your Campaign Results Before You Walk Into the Classroom

Teaching paid media means proving you can run campaigns that convert. Hiring teams for this role want to see real numbers, not just certifications.

    1. Quantify your wins: On your CV, list specific campaign metrics like CTR, ROAS, and conversion rates. For example, 'Managed Google Ads campaigns with a 4.5x ROAS.'

    2. Prepare a teaching demo: Expect to deliver a sample lecture. Pick a topic like 'Optimizing Meta Ads for Lead Generation' and show how you'd explain it to beginners.

    3. Update your portfolio: Ensure your campaign portfolio is current and includes case studies with clear objectives, strategies, and results. Highlight any work with African brands or audiences.

    4. Know the tools deeply: Be ready to discuss advanced features of Google Ads and Meta Ads, such as audience targeting, bidding strategies, and A/B testing.

    5. Show your teaching philosophy: Explain how you make complex concepts accessible. Mention any experience mentoring or training others.

    6. Align with ADMI's mission: Research ADMI's programs and emphasize your commitment to developing digital talent in Africa.

    7. Prepare for technical questions: You may be asked to analyze a sample campaign and suggest improvements. Practice using analytics tools like Google Analytics.

    8. Follow up professionally: After applying, send a polite follow-up email within a week to reiterate your interest and highlight your key strengths.
