Show HSE Leadership and ESG Savvy in Your Application

This role sits at the intersection of safety operations and sustainability strategy. Hiring managers will be looking for someone who can enforce compliance while also shaping the company's ESG story.

    1. Tailor your CV to HSE and ESG: Highlight your experience with HSE procedures, risk assessments, and sustainability reporting. Use specific examples of how you've improved safety metrics or implemented environmental initiatives.

    3. Show regulatory fluency: Be ready to discuss OSHA 2007, EMCA 1999, and ISO standards in detail. Mention any direct experience with audits or inspections.

    4. Prepare for scenario questions: Expect questions like 'How would you handle a fire emergency?' or 'Describe a time you implemented a sustainability initiative.' Practice your responses.

    5. Highlight your soft skills: This role involves mentoring and stakeholder engagement. Provide examples of how you've trained others or influenced management.

    6. Research Proto Energy: Understand their LPG distribution business and current ESG efforts. Mention how you can contribute to their sustainability goals.
