Show You Can Run a Sales Pipeline in Energy

This role is about leading a sales team in the energy sector, so your application should demonstrate your hands-on experience with CRM data, pipeline auditing, and B2B distribution. Hiring managers will be looking for proof that you can drive revenue growth and manage cross-functional teams.

    1. Quantify your sales achievements: Use numbers to show your impact, like percentage growth in sales or market share. For example, 'Increased sales by 20% within one year by implementing new CRM strategies.'

    2. Highlight your energy sector knowledge: Be specific about your experience with transformers, solar PV, and smart metering. Mention any projects or products you've worked with.

    3. Show your CRM expertise: Detail your proficiency with CRM systems, how you've used them to manage pipelines, and any improvements you've made to data integrity.

    4. Demonstrate leadership skills: Provide examples of how you've developed your team, onboarded new members, or improved team performance.

    5. Prepare for behavioral questions: Expect questions about how you've handled underperforming team members or resolved customer complaints. Have specific stories ready.

    6. Understand the local market: Show that you know the energy sector in Kenya, including key players, regulations, and market trends.

    7. Communicate your cross-functional coordination: Emphasize your ability to work with marketing, technical services, and management to align goals.
