The Sounding and Security Watch is responsible for overseeing the safety and security of all Navy-owned floating assets at the Small Boat Basin and Deep Draft Wharf of NSF Diego Garcia during designated watch hours. This role includes conducting risk assessments, coordinating emergency response plans, security movement procedures and ensuring compliance with organizational and local security standards. The position holder will also liaise with local authorities, humanitarian partners, and internal teams to maintain a secure working environment for staff and clients, especially in Dadaab the refugee camps and Garissa.
