1. Lead with your MMed and KMPDC registration: Your CV must clearly show your Master of Medicine in Paediatrics and Child Health and current KMPDC recognition. Place these at the top, and if you have a practicing license, include its number and expiry date.

2. Show your neonatal experience in numbers: Quantify your NBU/NICU exposure—how many neonates you managed monthly, survival outcomes, or specific procedures like intubation or umbilical lines. Concrete numbers beat vague claims.

3. Prepare a case log of pediatric emergencies: Have 3–5 detailed cases ready—severe malaria, neonatal sepsis, or respiratory distress—showing your decision-making from presentation to outcome. The panel will likely ask you to walk through one.

4. Demonstrate your teaching style: Since you'll supervise nurses, medical officers, and interns, be ready to explain how you've mentored juniors. Mention any bedside teaching, simulation sessions, or structured feedback you've given.

5. Highlight your work in immunization and nutrition: This role leads preventive health initiatives. If you've run outreach clinics, managed vaccination drives, or tackled malnutrition, detail those projects and their impact.

6. Know the county's health priorities: Isiolo is a semi-arid county with unique pediatric challenges—malnutrition, neonatal care gaps, and infectious diseases. Show you understand these realities and have ideas to address them.
