    Additional Information

How to Apply: Interested and qualified candidates should apply online via the Amentum careers website at www.amentumcareers.com.

Master the Technical Manuals Before You Apply

This role lives and breathes parts research from dense technical manuals and military orders. Hiring managers will look for proof you can decode schematics and keep records straight under pressure.

    1. Show your parts research process: On your CV, describe a specific time you sourced a hard-to-find part. Mention the tools you used, like manufacturer catalogs or military technical orders, and how you verified compatibility.

    2. Highlight your inventory software skills: If you've used any inventory management system, name it. Even basic Excel skills matter, so list your proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel for tracking parts.

    3. Emphasize safety compliance: This role stresses PPE and zero-injury environments. Mention any safety training or certifications you have, like OSHA, and how you've followed safety protocols in past roles.

    4. Prepare for OCONUS realities: If you have experience in austere environments, highlight it. If not, show you understand the demands of remote deployments and are ready to adapt.

    5. Get your documents ready: Ensure your passport is valid for at least a year and be prepared to obtain visas. Mention your driver's license and any certifications like CSCP.

    6. Practice interpreting technical docs: Be ready to discuss how you've read schematics or parts breakdowns. You might be tested on this in an interview, so review common military vehicle parts.

    7. Show your communication skills: You'll collaborate with maintenance staff and train others. Give an example of explaining a technical issue to a non-technical colleague.

    8. Research Amentum's work: Understand the company's government contracts and the types of vehicles and equipment you might support. Tailor your application to show you're a fit for their mission.
