    Job Description

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will own full-cycle recruitment for assigned roles, from sourcing and screening through to offer, while building strong, diverse talent pipelines and delivering a consistently positive candidate experience. You will apply established sourcing, assessment, and negotiation techniques independently, partner closely with hiring managers on role requirements and market insights, and escalate complex, high-risk, or strategic hiring needs to senior members of the Talent Acquisition team. This is an opportunity to grow your recruitment expertise while contributing to a fast-scaling, mission-driven Global Talent function. This is a full-time, fixed-term employee position with an expected duration of 9 months.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Proactively identify and engage passive candidates, nurturing relationships to keep them warm and interested in CloudFactory.
    • Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records in the ATS.
    • Independently screen and assess candidates against role requirements, conducting structured interviews and evaluations.
    • Document screening outcomes clearly and provide well-reasoned recommendations to hiring managers.
    • Apply consistent, fair assessment methods across every stage of the hiring process.
    • Manage relationships with hiring managers and key stakeholders throughout the recruitment lifecycle, proactively identifying and addressing their needs.
    • Advise hiring managers on realistic timelines, market conditions, and role requirements.
    • Escalate complex or sensitive recruitment issues to senior Talent Acquisition team members when needed.
    • Own the candidate experience from first contact through offer, ensuring clear and timely communication at every stage.
    • Coordinate interviews and manage candidate logistics.
    • Respond to candidate questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
    • Create and share content that showcases CloudFactory's employer brand across social and professional channels.
    • Support talent marketing campaigns and recruitment events to attract candidates.
    • Conduct market research on talent availability, compensation benchmarks, and hiring trends relevant to open roles.
    • Use market insights to inform sourcing strategy and set realistic expectations with hiring managers.
    • Manage requisitions, candidate pipelines, and reporting in the ATS with a high level of proficiency.
    • Maintain accurate, complete, and compliant recruitment data.
    • Help identify and correct data quality issues.
    • Generate and analyze recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, pipeline health, and cost-per-hire, to track progress against hiring goals.
    • Present findings clearly to hiring managers and the Global Talent team.
    • Extend and negotiate job offers, handling candidate questions and objections professionally.
    • Ensure offers align with internal equity and market benchmarks, escalating complex negotiations when needed.

    Show Your Full-Cycle Recruitment Chops

Hiring managers for this role want to see you've owned the entire recruitment process, not just one slice of it. They'll probe how you source passive candidates, manage stakeholder expectations, and negotiate offers without dropping the ball.

    1. Map your process: Walk through a recent hire from kickoff to offer, highlighting how you prioritized requisitions and communicated with hiring managers at each stage. Show you can juggle multiple roles without losing track.

    2. Quantify your sourcing: Bring numbers to the table—how many candidates you sourced per role, conversion rates from outreach to interview, and time-to-fill improvements. Concrete metrics beat vague claims.

    3. Master the ATS: Be ready to talk about your experience with specific systems like Workday, Lever, or Greenhouse. Mention how you kept data clean and used reports to spot bottlenecks.

    4. Prepare stakeholder stories: Have an example where you advised a hiring manager on market conditions or pushed back on unrealistic timelines. They want to see you can influence without being pushy.

    5. Show negotiation savvy: Describe a time you handled a candidate's counteroffer or objection. Emphasize how you balanced candidate expectations with internal equity and budget.

    6. Highlight AI literacy: Since they mention LLMs and prompt engineering, be ready to discuss how you've used or would use AI tools to streamline sourcing, screening, or communication. Even a simple example shows you're forward-thinking.

    7. Emphasize employer brand: Talk about any content you've created for social channels or events you've supported. They want someone who can attract talent beyond just posting jobs.

    8. Prepare for behavioral questions: Expect questions like 'Tell me about a time you managed a difficult stakeholder' or 'How do you handle a high-volume requisition?' Use the STAR method and keep answers concise.

CareerSasa Safety Alert: Never pay employers or agencies for interviews, training, or job placement. Does a job request payment? Report it immediately using the "Flag" button. While CareerSasa vets job postings thoroughly, always verify opportunities independently.
