Show Your Teaching Side in the Interview

ADMI is looking for a lecturer who can translate complex UX concepts into clear, actionable lessons. Your portfolio matters, but so does your ability to explain your process and mentor students.

    1. Prepare a teaching demo: Be ready to walk through a UX case study as if you were teaching a class. Show how you break down research findings and design decisions.

    2. Highlight your mentoring experience: If you've coached junior designers or students, mention it. ADMI values educators who can nurture talent.

    3. Emphasize practical tools: Show your fluency in Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch. Mention how you'd teach these tools in a classroom setting.

    4. Connect research to design: Explain how you'd teach students to turn user research into wireframes and prototypes. Concrete examples will strengthen your case.

    5. Discuss portfolio building: Talk about how you'd guide students to create case studies that stand out to employers.

    6. Show passion for Africa's digital future: ADMI is shaping the next generation of digital creatives. Express your commitment to developing local talent.

    7. Prepare for questions on curriculum: Think about how you'd structure a course on user research and usability. Be ready to share your ideas.

    8. Bring your own work: Have your portfolio ready to showcase your process, not just the final designs. Explain your decision-making at each step.
