THE OPPORTUNITY & RESPONSIBILITIES Inkomoko is seeking an experienced Field Security Associate Reporting to the Security Focal Person, with a very close working relationship with the Operations Manager, the Field Security Associate will be responsible for overseeing and implementing safety protocols across Inkomoko’s offices in Kenya, particularly in Dadaab and Garissa. This role includes conducting risk assessments, coordinating emergency response plans, security movement procedures and ensuring compliance with organizational and local security standards. The position holder will also liaise with local authorities, humanitarian partners, and internal teams to maintain a secure working environment for staff and clients, especially in Dadaab the refugee camps and Garissa. Experience working in fragile contexts and a strong understanding of Dadaab, the Camps and Garissa security landscape are essential for success in this position Provides supervisor with timely and credible security information and contextual analysis of the local security situation through: daily incident alerts and bi-weekly analytical reports for his/her areas of responsibility.
