Show Your Full-Stack Chops Before the Interview

This role sits at the heart of a consulting firm's product delivery, so the hiring team will probe how you think about code, tests, and containers. Bring proof of real projects, not just coursework.

1. Build a small full-stack demo: Create a simple app using React and Django with DRF, and push it to GitHub. Include a README that explains your architecture and how to run it with Docker. This shows you can handle the stack they use.

2. Prepare to talk TDD: Be ready to explain how you write tests before code, and give an example of a test you wrote for a feature. Mention tools like pytest or Jest. Hiring managers want to see you value quality.

3. Know your container basics: Understand what Docker is and why it's used. Be able to explain how you'd containerize a Django app and a React app. Even a simple Dockerfile in your demo will set you apart.

4. Polish your communication: Since you'll interact with senior management, practice explaining technical concepts in plain language. Prepare a short pitch about a project you've done, focusing on outcomes.

5. Show eagerness to learn: Mention a new technology you've taught yourself recently, and how you did it. This shows you're proactive and can grow with the team.

6. Review your CV for integrity: Be honest about your skills and experience. If you're not strong in an area, say what you're doing to improve. Integrity is a stated requirement.

7. Prepare for a demo: You might be asked to walk through your code or a feature you built. Practice explaining your code logic and decisions. Keep it clear and concise.

8. Ask smart questions: Prepare questions about the team's current tech stack, how they handle code reviews, and what a typical sprint looks like. This shows genuine interest and helps you decide if it's the right fit.
