Show Your Network and Deal Sheet

This role hinges on your existing relationships and proof you can close large accounts. Hiring managers will probe your specific wins and how you navigated procurement committees.

    1. Map your network: List the hospital networks and clinic chains you already know. Be ready to name decision-makers and describe the nature of each relationship.

    2. Quantify your wins: Prepare a few case studies with numbers: deal size, timeline, and retention. Show how you turned a first order into a repeat contract.

    3. Understand tenders: Familiarize yourself with Kenya's public and private tender processes. Mention any experience with framework agreements.

    4. Speak to independence: Early-stage environments require self-starters. Give examples of working without heavy support structures.

    5. Brush up on CRM: Expect questions about pipeline management and forecasting. Be ready to explain your process for keeping data accurate.

    6. Know the product: Even if you're not clinical, understand the basics of medical consumables and devices. Show you can speak credibly to procurement teams.

    7. Show commercial acumen: Discuss how you balance price, margin, and volume. This role has uncapped commission, so they want hunters.

    8. Prepare for leadership: You'll have direct access to leadership. Be ready to share strategic ideas for growing the distribution network.

CareerSasa Safety Alert: Never pay employers or agencies for interviews, training, or job placement. Does a job request payment? Report it immediately using the "Flag" button. While CareerSasa vets job postings thoroughly, always verify opportunities independently.
