Own the Launch: Show You Can Coordinate from Factory to Showroom

This role sits at the intersection of product development, marketing, and quality. Hiring managers will probe how you keep cross-functional teams on track and how you verify readiness before a product hits the market.

    1. Map your product launch experience: On your CV, detail any product launches you've coordinated, even if they were smaller in scope. Highlight your role in tracking milestones, aligning teams, and ensuring deliverables were ready on time.

    2. Prove your project coordination skills: Expect questions about managing timelines and chasing stakeholders. Prepare a STAR story where you successfully followed up with multiple departments to meet a deadline.

    3. Show your showroom or merchandising sense: If you have experience with displays or visual merchandising, emphasize it. This role cares about how products look and are presented to customers.

    4. Understand the Terminal Check Process: Be ready to explain how you would verify product readiness—checking availability, quality, display, branding, and pricing. Think about checklists and corrective actions.

    5. Brush up on NPI and product lifecycle: Familiarize yourself with New Product Introduction stages and how they apply in manufacturing. You might be asked how you'd manage a product from concept to launch.

    6. Prepare for cross-functional communication questions: This role liaises with design, sales, manufacturing, and distributors. Have examples of how you've communicated complex requirements to different audiences.

    7. Highlight your reporting and documentation skills: You'll be preparing trackers, reports, and checklists. Bring samples of clean, professional documents you've created, or be ready to describe your approach.

    8. Show you can handle pressure: Product launches have tight deadlines. Share a time you worked under pressure and still delivered quality results.
