    Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, detail-obsessed Multi-Entity Xero Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financial operations across our growing portfolio of companies (tech/software, logistics, healthcare, real estate). In this role, you will be responsible for keeping clean, audit-ready books across multiple Xero organizations. You will manage accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, intercompany journal entries, and prepare monthly management accounts for leadership.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Multi-Entity Ledger Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date General Ledgers across multiple Xero organizations. Ensure proper categorization of revenues, cost of goods sold (COGS), and operating expenses.
    • Intercompany Accounting: Record and reconcile all intercompany transactions, shared cost allocations, and inter-entity loans to ensure balances match across all files at month-end.
    • Bank & Account Reconciliation: Reconcile daily bank feeds, credit cards, payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, Wise), and merchant processor accounts. Resolve discrepancies promptly.
    • AP / AR & Invoicing: Manage supplier invoice processing, vendor payments, customer invoicing, aged receivables, and collections tracking.
    • Month-End Close: Execute month-end closing procedures, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation schedules, suspense account clearing, and intercompany eliminations.
    • Reporting: Generate P&L statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow reports per entity using Xero’s tracking categories and custom report templates.

    Required Qualifications

    • 3+ years of experience as a full-charge bookkeeper or accounts assistant.
    • Expert-level proficiency in Xero (Xero Advisor Certification strongly preferred).
    • Proven track record managing multiple Xero account files simultaneously.
    • Deep understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, intercompany transfers, and Chart of Accounts structure.
    • Advanced MS Excel / Google Sheets skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial summaries).
    • High level of integrity, analytical precision, and clear written English communication.
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
