Mastering the Art of Executive Support for a High-Flying Chairman

This role demands more than just administrative skills—it requires a proactive, trustworthy partner who can keep pace with a demanding international leader. Your ability to anticipate needs, manage complex schedules, and handle sensitive information with discretion will set you apart.

    1. Showcase your trustworthiness upfront: In your CV and cover letter, highlight specific examples where you handled confidential information or sensitive tasks. Mention any references who can vouch for your discretion and reliability.

    2. Demonstrate your organizational prowess: Provide concrete examples of how you managed multiple priorities, coordinated travel, or maintained complex calendars. Use numbers to show scale (e.g., managed schedules for 3 executives).

    3. Prove your tech and social media skills: List specific Microsoft Office tools you're proficient in (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and any social media management experience. If you've used project management tools like Trello or Asana, mention them.

    4. Highlight your communication skills in English and Swahili: Provide examples of written reports, presentations, or correspondence you've prepared. If you've liaised with diverse stakeholders, describe that experience.
