TMS Yard Supervisor

This role involves overseeing daily tire yard operations, managing the full tire lifecycle, and ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and customer SLA requirements. The supervisor will maintain tire stock levels, monitor tire performance, and ensure accurate recording of transactions in the Budini Tire Management System.

• Oversee daily tire yard operations, including fitment, rotation, torque checking, and pressure maintenance.
• Manage the full tire lifecycle, including new tire issuance, worn tire removal, retread dispatch, and receipt.
• Ensure all tire transactions comply with standard operating procedures and customer SLA requirements.
• Maintain appropriate tire stock levels based on fleet requirements.
• Monitor tire performance, wear patterns, load ratings, and inflation standards, and identify issues requiring technical escalation.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all tire transactions in the Budini Tire Management System.
• Review operational reports and maintain organized, auditable yard records.
• Ensure yard tools and equipment are properly maintained and used safely.

• Certificate or Diploma in Automotive Engineering, Motor Vehicle Mechanics, or an equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in tyre fitting and management within a commercial vehicle environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of heavy commercial trucks, trailers, and light commercial vehicles, including tyre specifications, load indices, and inflation standards.
• Experience supervising a team in an operational, workshop, or yard environment.
• Competent in using mobile and desktop applications for data entry and reporting.
• Experience in tyre management services or fleet management will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with Budini Tyre Management Software or equivalent systems is preferred.
• Exposure to CPK-based tyre contracts and fleet SLA environments will be an added advantage.
