Show You Can Run Trade Admin Like a Well-Oiled Machine

This role sits at the center of trade operations, so hiring managers will be looking for someone who can juggle invoices, stock reports, and team logistics without dropping the ball. Your CV and interview answers need to prove you've done this before, not just that you're organized.

    1. Quantify your admin wins: Instead of saying you handled invoices, say you processed 50+ supplier payments monthly with zero errors. Numbers make your experience tangible and show you understand the scale of trade operations.

    2. Prepare a stock analysis story: Be ready to walk through a time you analyzed distributor closing stocks and spotted a trend or issue. Explain the data you used, the insight you gained, and the action you took.

    3. Show your ecommerce fluency: Since ecommerce experience is required, mention specific platforms or tools you've used (e.g., Shopify, Magento, or internal ERP systems). Even if it was a side project, frame it as relevant exposure.

    4. Demonstrate your coordination skills: This role involves organizing meetings, tracking leave, and managing travel. Give an example of a complex schedule you managed, highlighting how you prioritized and communicated with stakeholders.

    5. Highlight your compliance awareness: With records management and document approval in the job, talk about how you've maintained accurate records and ensured compliance in past roles. Mention any experience with audits or regulatory submissions.

    6. Emphasize your customer service mindset: As the principal point of contact for inquiries, you need to show you can handle high volumes with patience and professionalism. Share a time you resolved a difficult customer complaint.

    7. Show your flexibility: The job mentions being adaptable in a fast-paced environment. Give an example of a time you pivoted quickly when priorities changed, and how you kept your team on track.

    8. Research the company and trade sector: Before the interview, learn about Flexi-Personnel and the trade landscape in Kenya. Be ready to discuss how your skills align with their goals and how you can support distributor and supplier relationships.

CareerSasa Safety Alert: Never pay employers or agencies for interviews, training, or job placement. Does a job request payment? Report it immediately using the "Flag" button. While CareerSasa vets job postings thoroughly, always verify opportunities independently.
