How to Apply: Send your application to hr@kenchic.com with the subject line as specified in the job posting.

Master the Treatment Process Before You Apply

This role is about precision and reliability. Hiring managers will look for candidates who can handle chemicals safely, read gauges accurately, and keep meticulous records under shift pressure.

    1. Highlight your hands-on experience: On your CV, detail any prior work with water or effluent treatment systems. Mention specific equipment you've operated, chemicals you've handled, and the scale of operations. If you have experience in a manufacturing plant, emphasize that.

    2. Show your knowledge of standards: Be ready to discuss effluent treatment standards like NEMA or WHO guidelines. Review the basics of water quality parameters (pH, BOD, COD) and how they're measured.

    3. Prove your analytical skills: Give examples of how you've used data to spot problems or improve processes. For instance, describe a time you noticed a gauge reading was off and took corrective action.

    4. Prepare for practical questions: Expect questions about chemical dosing calculations, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and safety protocols. Practice explaining your thought process clearly.

    5. Emphasize your teamwork and communication: This role involves coordinating with other technicians and reporting to supervisors. Share examples of how you've collaborated in a team and communicated issues effectively.

    6. Be ready for shift work: The posting mentions shifts and weekend work. Show flexibility and a willingness to adapt to operational needs. Mention any prior shift experience.

    7. Polish your Microsoft Office skills: You'll need to record data and possibly create reports. Be prepared to demonstrate your proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

    8. Consider the driving advantage: If you have a valid driving licence, highlight it. It could give you an edge, so make sure it's clearly stated on your CV.
