Provide overall clinical leadership and governance in the clinical medicine department while providing professional and compassionate medical treatment, care and services by ensuring patient review and treatment in line with Avenue Healthcare's policies, procedures and standards, and medical standards and practices.

Provide clinical and operational leadership across Inpatient Services, ensuring safe, high-quality and efficient patient care, effective patient flow, optimal utilization of medical and procedural resources, strong multidisciplinary and specialist coordination, achievement of operational and quality performance indicators, and continuous improvement in clinical outcomes and patient experience. The Inpatient Team Leader will provide direct leadership to the inpatient medical officers' team.

The Chronic Care Lead Nurse performs care management for chronically ill patients with chronic diseases such as chronic kidney disease, diabetes mellitus, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and/or congestive heart failure. The Chronic Care nurse works in collaboration and continuous partnership with chronically ill patients and their family/caregivers, clinic providers and community resources in a team approach to increase patients' ability for self-management and shared decision-making.

Provide safe and high-quality endoscopy services in line with the hospital policies and procedures.

To manage the provision of nursing and auxiliary services in the Hospital according to Avenue's defined quality standards, protocols and policies.

The Medical Officer intern will work under supervision to fulfil registration requirements. During this period, the intern will have an opportunity to consolidate their knowledge, skills and attitudes to enable them to become a competent practitioner.
