Master the Logbook Loan Sales Pitch

This role is all about converting leads into funded logbook loans. Hiring managers will look for hustle, clean documentation, and the ability to explain loan terms clearly to customers under pressure.

    1. Know the product inside out: Before the interview, research how logbook loans work in Kenya—interest rates, valuation, and repossession policies. Be ready to explain the process simply to a customer.

    2. Show your sales track record: Even if you're entry-level, highlight any sales or marketing experience, even from school or side hustles. Quantify results where possible, like number of customers reached or deals closed.

    3. Prepare for a target-driven mindset: Expect questions about how you handle pressure and meet targets. Share a story where you pushed through a tough sales period and what you did to succeed.

    4. Demonstrate customer service skills: Since you'll guide customers through loan applications, emphasize your ability to explain complex information clearly and handle objections politely.

    5. Get comfortable with CRM and Microsoft Office: You'll need to track leads and update records. If you have used any CRM before, mention it. If not, show willingness to learn quickly.

    6. Practice your pitch: You may be asked to sell a logbook loan on the spot. Prepare a 30-second pitch that highlights benefits like quick cash and flexible repayment.

    7. Research Mogo Finance: Understand their brand values and customer protection standards. Mentioning these in the interview shows you align with their culture.

    8. Ask smart questions: At the end, ask about branch targets, training, and growth opportunities. This shows you're serious about the role and long-term.
