Show You Can Drive Sales and Build Teams in the Field

This role is about owning results across branches and territories. Hiring managers will look for proof that you can set plans, coach supervisors, and fix performance gaps using data and market insight.

    1. Quantify your sales wins: On your CV, show numbers: revenue growth, target achievement, team size, and territory size. For example, "grew regional sales by 30% in 12 months" or "managed a team of 15 across 5 branches."

    2. Show your leadership style: Expect questions on how you motivate and hold teams accountable. Prepare examples of coaching a struggling rep, setting KPIs, and handling underperformance.

    3. Know your market: Research Victory Farms and the aquaculture sector in Kenya. Understand their products, competitors, and distribution challenges. Show you can spot opportunities.

    4. Prepare for data questions: You'll use sales and operational data to make decisions. Be ready to discuss how you've used dashboards, sales reports, or inventory data to improve performance.

    5. Highlight cross-functional work: This role works with supply chain, operations, and finance. Give examples of collaborating to solve stock issues or launch a new product.

    6. Show resilience: Field sales is tough. Share a story of handling a setback, like a missed target or a supply disruption, and how you recovered.

    7. Ask smart questions: In the interview, ask about the region's growth potential, current challenges, and how success is measured. This shows you're strategic.

    8. Align with the mission: Victory Farms is mission-driven. Show you care about food security and sustainable aquaculture, not just profit.
