    Master the IPMI Sales Conversation

This role is about converting relationships into revenue. Hiring managers will probe how you build pipelines, manage intermediaries, and navigate the regulatory landscape of health insurance in Kenya.

    1. Prove your pipeline discipline: Show a clear, measurable history of managing sales pipelines. Use numbers: how many leads, conversion rates, and revenue delivered. If you have CRM experience, mention it.

    2. Know the IPMI product inside out: Be ready to explain how IPMI differs from regular health insurance, including premium structures, coverage limits, and claims processes. This signals you can hit the ground running.

    3. Show broker and agent management skills: Give examples of how you've recruited, trained, or supported intermediaries. Highlight any growth you drove through them.

    4. Speak the regulatory language: Familiarize yourself with IRA guidelines and AML policies. Mention your COP certificate and valid IRA licence upfront.

    5. Prepare a market expansion pitch: Think about untapped segments for IPMI in Kenya—SMEs, diaspora, or specific corporate sectors. Have a mini-plan ready.

    6. Demonstrate commercial acumen: Be ready to discuss how you price, negotiate, and close deals while maintaining profitability. Use a past win as a case study.

    7. Highlight your network: If you have existing relationships with brokers, agents, or corporate clients, mention them. This role thrives on warm contacts.

    8. Show resilience and problem-solving: Sales is tough. Share a story of how you turned around a stalled deal or recovered from a lost client. It shows grit.
