How to Apply: Send your CV and portfolio to HR@ORIENTCONSTRUCTION.CO.KE.

Your Portfolio Is the Interview — Make Every Render Count

For a freelance 3D visualizer role, your portfolio speaks louder than your CV. The hiring team at Orient Construction and Interiors wants to see that you can turn architectural concepts into photorealistic visuals that win clients over.

    1. Curate for relevance: Lead with interior and exterior renders that match the construction and interiors sector. If you have hospitality, residential, or office projects, put them upfront — they show you understand the spaces this company designs.

    2. Show the process: Include a few before-and-after shots or wireframe-to-final comparisons. This proves you can interpret drawings and concepts, not just model pretty scenes.

    3. Highlight lighting and materials: Pick renders that demonstrate your command of natural and artificial light, textures, and material realism. Those are the details that separate average work from client-ready visuals.

    4. Tailor your CV: Keep it concise but list the specific software you use (3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, Blender, etc.) and the types of projects you've handled. Freelance clients scan for tools and speed.

    5. Mention turnaround times: In your CV or cover note, give examples of how you manage deadlines. Freelance work lives or dies on delivery — show you respect timelines.

    6. Prepare to discuss revisions: Be ready to explain how you handle feedback and refine visuals. They'll want to know you can collaborate with designers without friction.

    7. Check your file hygiene: Send a clean PDF or a link to an online portfolio. Make sure it loads fast and looks sharp on a phone — hiring managers often review on the go.

    8. Follow up smartly: If you don't hear back in a week, send a polite email re-stating your interest and attaching your portfolio again. It shows persistence without being pushy.
