    Job Description

    Reeds Africa Consult (RAC) is seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead and coordinate sales and marketing operations across multiple channels. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful execution of sales campaigns, product launches, and market initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, planning, and performance management skills within a fast-paced commercial environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Lead and coordinate Sales and Marketing teams through structured weekly planning, execution, and performance review meetings.
    2. Assign responsibilities, monitor timelines, and ensure accountability across sales and marketing functions.
    3. Align sales, marketing, design, and production schedules to support campaigns and product launches.
    4. Oversee sales performance across multiple channels through regular tracking, analysis, and reporting.
    5. Identify performance gaps, operational challenges, and revenue risks, escalating issues and proposing corrective actions.
    6. Monitor collaborations and product launches to ensure readiness of timelines, samples, marketing assets, and stock.
    7. Oversee content and marketing execution, including content calendars, photo shoots, digital campaigns, and website updates.
    8. Prepare and submit weekly performance, risk, and progress reports to senior management.
    9. Support strategic planning initiatives aimed at improving sales efficiency and market penetration.

    Required Qualifications

    1. Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
    2. Relevant professional training or certifications in sales or marketing will be an added advantage.
    3. Proven experience in a Sales Management or Commercial Leadership role.
    4. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage cross-functional teams.
    5. Experience overseeing multi-channel sales operations.
    6. Strong planning, coordination, and reporting skills.
    7. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
    8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple priorities.

This is a flagship initiative supported by the International Climate Initiative (IKI) of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment. The consultant will work remotely, collaborating closely with consortium partners across Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, and Peru, with Nairobi as the primary duty station.The role is ideal for professionals with strong technical knowledge in sustainable mobility and practical experience in gender and equity mainstreaming, capacity development, and monitoring and evaluation. Candidates should also bring strong familiarity with intersectional approaches and “leave no one behind” principles in urban transport and digitalisation contexts.Key Deliverables and Activities1.
